Roald Dahl's Matilda the Musical Jr. Casting

Please look below for important notes on this production and look for your audition number.   If you do not see your number, that means we were unable to cast you in this specific production.  Please fill out the Acceptance/Decline form by 9AM Monday, September 19th.  

Roald Dahl’s Matilda The Musical Jr. (for actors grades 5+) 

Rehearsals: 3/6-4/27 Mon-Thurs 6:15-9:00, Sat 1:00-5:00 (no rehearsals April 8-15) 

Performances: 4/28-5/14 Fri/Sat 7:00 Sat/Sun 2:00  

Notes from the director:  

Matilda, Ms. Honey, and Ms. Trunchbull are double cast. Actor pairings and performance schedules will be determined during rehearsals. 

* The current plan is for the Escapologist and the Acrobat to be puppets. These actors will voice the characters and act as the puppeteers. 

** This actor is also being cast as the company Swing. This actor will learn other named (non-doubled) roles as a substitute - with one guaranteed performance, to be determined during rehearsals. 

*** This actor will have at least one guaranteed performance as Ms. Trunchbull, to be determined during rehearsals.
