Chillin' Like a Villain

When the children of iconic musical villains get together, you know there’s going to be high drama and fabulous musical numbers! Students will learn the basics of vocal training, acting, and choreography with characters and songs from Disney’s Descendants. By the end, students will be singing and dancing in true modern diva style!

Are you ready for a wild rumpus? This session monsters are the stars. Furry, scary, or yet to be created, the only limit is our imaginations. Students will learn the basics of acting, movement, and storytelling, while working to create their own monstrously fun script.

Do or do not, there is no try. So, may the Force be with us as students explore the universe of Star Wars to learn the basics of acting, movement, and storytelling. Students will work together to create original scenes, inspired by the characters, stories, and worlds from a galaxy far, far away.

Stars on Stage is designed to show every student what it's like to be in a play. The fundamentals of theatre are key here, as young actors learn to harness the power of their voices, bodies, and imaginations. We will stage stories, create characters, and work together as a team to create a story that will make your stars shine.

The Greatest Show!

With music that soars above the circus tents and themes of inclusion and family, this new musical strikes a powerful chord in all ages. Join the circus as we dive into The Greatest Showman! This class will teach young actors basic acting, singing, and choreography skills. Students will enjoy becoming a part of....THE GREATEST SHOW ON EARTH!

Join Atreyu and his dragon friend, Falkor, as they embark on a great quest to save the world of Fantastica. Full of unique characters in a fanciful world, students will use selections from The Neverending Story to learn about script analysis, character study, and performance.

The Musical Madrigals

Welcome to La Casa de Madrigal! Students will brush off the “Surface Pressure” and find their inner, magical strength. Character study, choreography, and singing are just some of the valuable performance skills that we will use to create our own miracles in this Encanto themed class… Just don’t talk about Bruno.

Fractured Fairytales
Thursdays, 4/25-6/6/24

What would happen if Cinderella met the Big, Bad Wolf? What if the Gingerbread Man ate up the Three Bear’s porridge? Anything can happen, and probably will, in Fractured Fairytales! Students will use characters, plots, and settings from traditional fairytales to create “fractured” versions with their own spins on these classic stories.

MARVEL-ous Scene Study
Wednesdays, 4/24-6/5/24

It’s time to put the super in superhero! Students will develop theatre skills, confidence, and teamwork worthy of being an Avenger, while devising original scripts inspired by characters and stories from the Marvel cinematic universe. Our imaginations can create heroes and villains both familiar and never-before seen.

Refund & Cancellation Policy:
YTN will refund tuition less the 25% non-refundable deposit (up to $100) for registrations cancelled at least 1 week prior to the start of a class or camp. Registrations cancelled less than a week prior to the start date will not be refunded.
YTN reserves the right to cancel a class (in instances of insufficient enrollment or for other reasons out of the organization's control). In this case, any tuition paid will be refunded in full, including the registration fee. YTN will notify families 1 week prior to the beginning of class if cancellation is necessary.
No refund or make-up dates will be provided for classes cancelled due to inclement weather.
Covid-19 Specific Cancelation Policies:
If government guidelines change or if quarantine is required, YTN classes and camps automatically transfer to an online format. Refunds will not be granted in this case or in cases where families wish to withdraw due to changing Covid policies (such as mask mandates, health screening, testing, etc.).
Transfer Policy:
Transferring from one session to another after registration will incur a $15 processing fee.
