Student Crew Opportunities

Want to be involved with a production at Youth Theatre Northwest? YTN has backstage opportunities for students throughout the year.

Backstage Crew (Grades 4th+)

In backstage crew positions, students will work under the Assistant Stage Manager and could do a variety of jobs helping with scene changes, quick costume changes, prop organization, etc.

Light and Sound Board Operator (Grades 4th+)

Under the supervision of the Stage Manager and guidance of the Lighting Designer and Sound Designer, these crew positions run the light and sound boards for our productions. Which occasionally include special lighting effects and/or microphones.

Student Stage Manager (Grades 6th+)

Student Stage Managers work under the Stage Manager, with the Assistant Stage Manager, to help run the backstage areas, assist with production paperwork, and run our post-show talk back with audiences.

Please note that final placement will be made based on the skills and technical needs of the show.
