Ahoy there, maties! Climb aboard to learn the basics of acting, movement, and storytelling. There are ships to sail, treasures to find, and sea creatures to help as we explore and activate pirate and mermaid themed picture books!
Parent and Child classes are great for students that might be ready to try their hand at theatre classes but are not quite ready for an independent class experience. One adult participation is free with student registration.

Magic Makers
Thursdays, 10/5-11/16/23

Ages 3-5
Put on your cloak and grab your wand—it's time to brew up a magical world of our creation. Together students will explore mystifying stories of witches, wizards, dragons, and unicorns. This class is bewitched with imaginative play, teamwork, and creative problem solving.

Out of This World Stories

Blast off to the outer reaches of your imagination to create out-of-this-world drama! In a class packed with a universe of possibilities, not even the sky is the limit. Movement and storytelling fundamentals will be our guide as we explore the final frontier, to infinity and beyond!

Join Elsa, Anna, Olaf, Kristoff, and Sven as we explore friendship and teamwork in the musical world of Arendelle. Students will be introduced to storytelling, character creation, and musical theatre basics inspired by the stories and music from Disney’s Frozen.

Stories from the PNW

The Pacific Northwest is a unique region with rich histories and stories to be explored. Using PNW-themed picture books as our map, students (along with their adult) will work together to bring the story pages to life of this land we call home.
Parent and Child classes are great for students that might be ready to try their hand at theatre classes but are not quite ready for an independent class experience. One adult participation is free with student registration.

Under the Sea

Ariel, Flounder, and the other creatures under the sea invite you on a musical adventure inspired by the classic film. Students will be introduced to musical theatre basics, while using their voices, bodies, and imaginations to expand on their own version of this beloved tale.

Dragons, Knights, and Princesses

A YTN classic - Dragons, Knights, & Princesses! We’ll bring stories and characters to life from classic fairytales, but with our own unique twists and turns. There are characters to meet, problems to solve, and heroic adventures all inside our own fairytale world.

Under the guidance of a YTN educator, students work together to activate favorite classic and modern children's books to meet characters and explore the worlds from these beloved stories. Together, students will stretch their creative problem-solving muscles, while learning valuable lessons about life and friendship.

Animal Tales
Saturdays, 4/27-5/18/24

Ages 2-5
Lions and tigers and bears.... oh my! It’s a jungle out there and we strive to be good friends to all animals. Students, along with their adults, will be introduced to storytelling, acting basics, and the power of teamwork through some of our favorite stories with animal characters front and center.

How Far We'll Go
Thursdays, 4/25-6/6/24

Hei Hei! Let’s catch a wave with the marvelous Moana and friends with fun of volcanic proportions. Just like Moana and Maui, the power of teamwork will lead us across the open ocean to restore the Heart of Te Fiti. And along the way we will surf the waves of songs that are sure to get stuck in your head - “You’re Welcome!”

Bluey and Friends
Saturdays, 4/27-6/8/24 (No 5/25)

Ages 3-5
Whackadoo! Join Bluey, Bingo, and their friends to turn everyday moments into fun adventures! Using their voices, bodies, and imaginations students will harness the power of teamwork to create their own Bluely inspired world where no pup is too small.

SPRING PARENT & CHILD STORY DRAMA BOOK SELECTIONS:
Refund & Cancellation Policy:
YTN will refund tuition less the 25% non-refundable deposit (up to $100) for registrations cancelled at least 1 week prior to the start of a class or camp. Registrations cancelled less than a week prior to the start date will not be refunded.
YTN reserves the right to cancel a class (in instances of insufficient enrollment or for other reasons out of the organization's control). In this case, any tuition paid will be refunded in full, including the registration fee. YTN will notify families 1 week prior to the beginning of class if cancellation is necessary.
No refund or make-up dates will be provided for classes cancelled due to inclement weather.
Covid-19 Specific Cancelation Policies:
If government guidelines change or if quarantine is required, YTN classes and camps automatically transfer to an online format. Refunds will not be granted in this case or in cases where families wish to withdraw due to changing Covid policies (such as mask mandates, health screening, testing, etc.).
Transfer Policy:
Transferring from one session to another after registration will incur a $15 processing fee.
