Ferguson to create basic production elements using items from home, YTN stock, and their own creations. Sometimes we share the stage with another show, sometimes it’s all our own, the adventure changes every session keeping us on our toes and presenting endless opportunities for creative problem solving and teamwork.
This fall, Performance Series will be exploring Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged). YTN last produced Complete Works, socially distanced, in Winter of 2021, and now we are excited to bring it to Performance Series! Created by The Royal Shakespeare Company, The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) is a hilarious journey through all 37 of Shakespeare's plays in 90 minutes! With Act I being 36 plays and Act II being Hamlet!
Tuition: $625, Full and partial scholarships and payment plans available.
PlayLab: 10-Minute Play
Tuesdays, 1/16-3/12/24 (No 2/20)
4:30 - 6:00 pm
In YTN's PlayLab, students will work together to make a script come to life. These young actors are going delve into a brand-new work! Using only minimal design elements in their final performance, PlayLab puts the focus on the story for this introduction to stage acting. Students will learn character development, script analysis, and acting fundamentals to produce a short script performance for the last day of class.
Full and partial scholarships and payment plans available.

“Horton the Elephant, the Cat in the Hat and all of your favorite Dr. Seuss characters spring to life onstage in Seussical KIDS, a fantastical musical extravaganza from Tony-winners, Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty. Young performers will be excited to portray the characters from the popular Dr. Seuss books. Ultimately, the powers of friendship, loyalty, family, and community are challenged and emerge triumphant!” (From Music Theatre International)
